Thankful Encouragement
Philippians 1:3 says, “I thank my God upon all my remembrance of you.”
The renowned theologian, Dr. W.A. Criswell, often wrote these words when he autographed a study Bible. Paul originally penned them with the Holy Spirit’s inspiration. Isn’t that amazing?
An Audacious, Amazing Inclusion
Matthew 6:13c says, “For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.”
The Way of Escape
Matthew 6:13b says, “but deliver us from the evil one.”
Jesus alone is the only Deliverer from evil! Write this down on your heart. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life! He’s the Conqueror King! He’s the Resurrection and the Life, and there is no evil in Him!
Working for our Good
Matthew 6:13a says, “And lead us not into temptation…”
We are assured in the book of James, chapter 1, verse 13 that God does not tempt us. So what is Jesus saying in this section of the Lord’s prayer?
