Matthew 6:9b says, "...hallowed be your name."

Often when I pray I go straight into my “give me” list, but truthfully, God is to be hallowed or sanctified, set-apart from any other. So giving praise and honor to God should always come first in my prayer time.

Matthew 6:9a says, "This, then, is how you should pray: Our Father in heaven...”

Joshua 1:9 says, "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Luke 6:38 says, "Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
