Yes, Jesus Loves You!

John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

Now why do you think God would love the world full of people like you and me? He could have lived without us. And why love us so much when we cause so much havoc for Him? We wonder why things on earth are so bad sometimes. It wasn’t because He wanted it that way. Our sin and selfishness cause much of the ills we see in society. And all the while, His love, graciousness, and patience keep Him from zapping us all.

He is a God of judgment, but His first choice is to love. Judgment will come if we reject His love, but He wants us to accept Him and His love before that has to happen.

He loves you, my friend. Believers, share this fact today. Live it out! If someone has yet to receive this love, don’t hesitate anymore. Because yes, Jesus loves you. The Bible tells us so.

And there you go!

God is our Father

Matthew 6:9a says, "This, then, is how you should pray: Our Father in heaven..."

Think on this. For those of us who are believers in Christ, God is our Father. Jesus taught His disciples the way to pray. He included that just as God is Jesus’ Father, so He is our Father. And though we cannot see Him in heaven, He is there with Jesus who is preparing a place for us. The Holy Spirit is now with us to show us how to live until we get there.

Isn’t it wonderful that our Father in heaven wants to talk to us and hear from us? Jesus has given us access to the very throne room of God. He tore the temple veil in two so we could enter the Holy of Holies, the place where God dwelt on earth.

Amazingly, that throne room now resides in our hearts and God, our Father, meets us there. It’s really too wonderful for words.

And there you go!

God Never Fails

Joshua 1:9 says, "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Do you believe this? Do I believe this? Whether we do or not, it’s true. We have no reason to be afraid or dismayed.

When I keep my granddaughter, Adali, she delights in that fact that I am just with her. She’s glad to see me, and she totally trusts that I will take care of her. I love the fact that she knows I love her and would only act for good on her behalf if at all possible.

But, alas, though I don’t even want to do so, I will fail her somewhere. But God will never fail her. He will be with her wherever she goes, and He will be with you and me. Let’s hand Him our fears and our disappointment today. He is for us, and He is with us wherever we go! Thank Him for His promise all day today!

And there you go!
