Sometimes I try to do things in my own strength which causes me to worry about the outcome of the situation, but scripture plainly states in Philippians 4:6, “Don’t worry about anything, instead pray about everything. Tell God your needs and don’t forget to Thank Him for His answers.”
That’s not optional friends and neighbors. It’s a command Christ-followers, and that includes Valerie Howe.
Worry shows I’m operating on my own, not trusting God in my circumstances as well as thinking I can manipulate circumstance to turn out in a way that suits me. God’s plans are always better than mine and His ways are higher than mine.
So today let’s all give God His righteous position and believe He has the best in mind for us, because He does. So why worry? Take those anxious thoughts captive--He will take care of us. Specifically for you and me--He’s got this!! And there you go!
